If it's worth doing...
Bible Copy Club's first season of 2026 begins tomorrow

God Is Love
Hi there,
Bible Copy Club returns tomorrow for a season I have named "God is Love" beginning with a passage from 1 John.
As we'll see next week and in the subsequent weeks of this season Love is the essence of God and informs all that he is and does. But love is also a gift. A gift we can only fully receive and then express when we accept the gift of Jesus's atoning sacrifice.
Please join me for what will be refreshing and enjoyable start to the New Year in BCC. The first email will be in your inbox at 1.05 am US Central Time tomorrow.
A Great Resolution
I am always very encouraged when I log in to the Bible Copy Club Encouragement Group on Facebook and see your work posted there and the community of encouragers cheering each other on.
If you aren't a member yet (and do use Facebook) I hope you'll consider joining this year and posting your work to the group every now and then.
You can join now by clicking this link, and completing the application (it takes 10 seconds).
You'll also find the group a really helpful resource for those days when your daily email goes to the wrong folder or when we are on break and everyone shares there ideas for what they are copying out between seasons.
If you are a member, Thank you for all your encouraging words and photos...and please do keep it up this year.
It's Worth Doing Badly
We've always been told, and I'm sure we've always told our children that "if it's worth doing, it's worth doing well."
I think as far as Bible Copy Club is concerned the opposite is true. I think if it's worth doing, it's worth doing 'badly.'
Indeed if you think of anything really worth doing; whether it's reading our Bible or a devotional, maintaining a morning quiet time, or spending time in prayer. It is often at its most valuable when we can only do it in the most basic or scrappy way.
Doing it at all is its own reward, regardless of how "well" or "badly" we do it on any given day.
So don't be discouraged if you can't do BCC perfectly every day or if your handwriting looks bad to you. Every day you take God's word into your own hand in 2026 will be a 'good' day.
Finally
I also really appreciate the emails I get from you every day. It's very easy to email me. Simply reply to the Bible Copy Club emails you receive and they come straight through to my inbox.
Looking forward to what this year holds for us all.
Andy
