Today: The shortest chapter in the Bible
A call for people everywhere to praise God for his faithfulness and love.

Meditation
Hi there,
The first two weeks of our season of songs has featured two similar songs of remembrance and and triumph. The bulk of the songs in the Bible are of course found collected in the book of Psalms and it is to this book that we'll turn for the next two weeks before concluding the season in the book of Revelation.
Today, we are copying out the shortest chapter in the Bible, Psalm 117.
Psalm 117 is also the 595th chapter of the Bible, making it the halfway point in your Bible. There are exactly 594 chapters after it and 594 chapters before it.
Quoted by Paul in Romans 15:11, this Psalm is a call for people everywhere to praise God for his faithfulness and love.
Hand-copying the Bible is an intentional decision to slow down and let the word work its way into our hearts.
So today, plan to savor this passage, not as an "easy day" but as an opportunity to slow down and meditate on it fully.
Today's text is Psalm 117
Psalm 117
Praise the Lord, all you nations;
extol him, all you peoples.
For great is his love toward us,
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.
Praise the Lord.
Encouragement
Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles; let all the peoples extol him
Romans 15:11
