Weekly reflection: Living out God's love

Three questions for personal reflection today

Reflection

Hi there,

During our second week of the new season, "God is Love," our focus was on the inseparable connection between God's commandments and our complete love for Him.

Commanding us to "live out our love" through active obedience, the teaching of His word, and consciously experiencing the joy of His provision in Christ.

I hope this week's reflection questions deepen your connection to this week's copy work.

  • In what practical ways can you intentionally demonstrate your "complete love of God" by keeping His commandments on your heart and guiding your day-to-day actions (Deuteronomy 6:5-6)?

  • What daily practice of teaching God's Word in your home and family this week, can help you move beyond simple agreement with the instructions in Deuteronomy 6:7-9?

  • How does the joy of God's ultimate provision in Christ (Genesis 22) inform your willingness to obey and live a life of love and restraint, as described in the commandments?

Thanks for all your positive emails this week. I'm pleased this season is resonating with so many of you!

Andy
